"I've changed careers and lived abroad, which taught me something fundamental: big life transitions, whether chosen or not, ripple through every part of who we are. Positive changes can still leave us feeling cast adrift. What looks like a setback on the surface often holds something worth taking forward. Moving country, changing careers, navigating relationships — these aren't just practical shifts. They challenge our sense of self and they're rarely straightforward.
This is partly why I work with expats and those navigating significant change and complex paths. I've learned that there's always room to move, even when the way isn't clear or linear. I'm drawn to helping people develop the self-knowledge to find their own way through — with greater confidence and on their own terms."

Regulatory membership
I am a member of both The British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and The British Psychological Society (BPS).
I work within the BACP Ethical Framework, which means the highest standards of confidentiality, safety, and ethical practice are at the heart of everything I do.
My approach is non-diagnostic and collaborative. Rather than applying a label or a prescribed treatment, I'm interested in understanding your unique experience — which can of course include having a diagnosis. My goal is to explore and illuminate how things are for you, from your perspective: the patterns, relationships, history, and responsibilities that shape your life.
Together, this exploration helps you see yourself in context, and you develop the ability to tune into yourself with greater clarity. You're the expert on your own experience — my role is to help you access that expertise more fully. This is the foundation for sustainable, impactful change.
This is a bit like the Alexander Calder mobile — a sculpture that in a snapshot appears static, but in life, is in constant motion. It exists in perfect balance because of its responsive and dynamic nature. Our lives aren't static, and neither is therapy. As you understand yourself more deeply, you develop the skill to notice and find your own balance, whatever life brings. That self-knowledge is what stays with you long after therapy ends.
Who I work with
I work with individuals; adults and young people (16+), often expats.
I work with you as an individual, providing a safe, confidential space free from judgement where your decision to explore therapy instead of or alongside other options is fully supported.
How I work
I draw from a variety of psychological study and training, always led by you and your unique experience.
I offer insights that fit and set aside those that don't — working with you, not any generalised model.
Working internationally
I trained and qualified in the UK.
I'm a native English speaker.
Depending on your location, my service is defined as psychotherapy (UK) or counselling (Europe).
My approach and the work itself remain the same wherever you are."
